Personal Development Coaching

Personal development is beneficial no matter what type of issue you are trying to tackle. I am a professional coach dedicated to helping individuals achieve greater fulfillment and meaning in their lives.

No matter if you are a younger person looking to establish yourself, or you are in the midst of a career or life transition—having someone on your side is invaluable.

Perhaps you’re struggling to find a new career or job which has meaning and excites you.
  • We’ll identify the type of work that truly excites and lights you up!
  • We’ll see what’s required for you to move forward with such a job or career. Does it involve a move? Does it involve going back to school or getting a loan?
  • After understanding the requirement(s), we’ll see what you are comfortable with. Does this particular job/career make sense for you? If yes, we’ll build an action plan around it to move you forward. If not, we’ll look at other job/career options and use the same methodology above.
Perhaps you’re newly divorced or separated and balancing children, career & a new love seems impossible.
  • We’ll work together to understand your specific situation and your time demands.
  • We’ll look for opportunities within your schedule where you may be able to break away and find some time for yourself.
  • We’ll identify and work to limit beliefs that may be sabotaging your ability to connect.
  • We’ll work on a plan together that get’s you in action and moves you forward towards your goals and connection.
Perhaps you’re in a relationship that is currently not working and you can’t seem to fix it or move on from it.
  • We’ll spend time understanding the relationship situation.
  • We’ll understand what you truly want and if you’re not clear we’ll look at your values, life purpose, and vision for the future and see what types of answers this provides.
  • We’ll review options for expressing your needs to the other person in your relationship. You may feel afraid and vulnerable, that’s ok, we’ll work through this and know I’ll be here to support and champion you.
  • If you’re done and want out we’ll understand what the next steps are and any fears or vulnerability you feel. One day at a time, you’ll get there and I’m here to help.
Perhaps retirement is nearing and you’re afraid of what’s to come.
  • We’ll identify what will make this time of life truly meaningful for you. What would you like to do with this time? Who will your community be? We’ll look at what the fears might be. We’ll look at resources available to help you further consider and plan for this time.
  • We’ll look at finances, if required. Do you have enough money? What are your financial options and resources?
  • We’ll develop a solid plan/timeline to retirement that includes issues you determine are critical to your retirement success.

From David's Clients . . .

“Opening up to somebody new can be hard, however I found it easy to do so with Dave pretty early on in our sessions. He is honestly compassionate, accepting, fun, and all around a likable person. I greatly appreciate the times he has helped guide me when I felt lost by constantly reminding me what my true values are. Though, what I enjoy the most during my sessions with Dave is when we slow things down and celebrate my accomplishments in life, whether it be a project I have completed or how I have changed for the better as a person. My days could be good or bad, but regardless I always leave a talk with Dave feeling powerful!”

“David has been my coach for 9 months and has done a fantastic job working with me to identify and focus on achieving my big personal and professional goals. We work at a pace that I set and that he honors, while challenging me when I need it! He listens deeply and asks exactly the right questions to provoke another level of insight into a topic that I’m wrestling with, or that needs deeper personal inquiry. His ability to connect with his client and wonderful sense of humor sprinkled in when the moment needs it; result in delightful, surprising and empowering coaching sessions every time.”
